Worlds UNBound Director

CATALYST

(Katie, she/her)

Catalyst is a civil engineer who has put her talents toward engineering new opportunities in Science and Engineering for children! When she isn't hanging out with her husband and kids, Catalyst enjoys teaching fitness classes at the gym and rocking out at the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival! Catalyst can't wait to hear all about what you've been up to this past year, and to see all of the wonderful Worlds UNBound families again this summer!

CHAOS

(Kamryn, she/her)

Chaos is a civil engineer with a twist—bringing a background in biology to the mix! Chaos is likely diving into a good book when she is not exploring new places around the globe or whipping up something delicious in the kitchen. Passionate about sparking curiosity in young minds, Chaos is dedicated to inspiring the next generation to explore the world around them and dive into the exciting fields of STEM. She can’t wait to connect with you and share more of the excitement that STEM has to offer!

SPARK

(Skye, she/her)

Spark is an electrical engineer with a specialization in biomedical applications, dedicated to sparking curiosity and innovation in STEM for children! When not exploring new horizons in engineering, Spark enjoys travelling, running, biking, cooking, and spending quality time with her dog, Goose. She is very excited to run clubs and inspire Worlds UNBound youth!

The rest of our team at Worlds UNBound/L’Univers Sans Limites is made up of enthusiastic university students who are passionate about educating and inspiring young minds. We love sharing our excitement for science and engineering through fun, hands-on workshops, clubs and summer day camps!

Olivia

(Instructor)

Olivia is going into her 4th year of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She is interested in becoming a teacher in the future and is so excited to be working at Worlds UNBound this summer! Olivia loves to read, swim, travel and take her dog Bruno for walks in her free time. She is so excited to meet all of the young scientists and to have a great summer!

Veronica

(Instructor)

Veronica is in her third year of Environmental Management at UNB with a specialization in Wildlife Conservation. She loves everything outdoors, whether that be hiking, outdoor labs, or just walking on campus. In previous years, Veronica has played rugby for UNB, but she likes to play soccer and basketball as well. Veronica is so excited for another amazing year with Worlds UNBound, and can't wait to show you what new activities we have in store!

Anu

(Instructor)

Anu is in his 5th year of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in CyberSecurity at UNB. Anu is very passionate about combining problem-solving and creative thinking with technology. In Anu's free time, he loves playing football, drawing, programming, and playing video games. He is very excited to meet everyone and hopes to inspire future problem solvers coming to Worlds UNBound.

Caleb

(Instructor)

Caleb is going into his 2nd year bachelor of science in medicinal chemistry at UNB. In the summer, he loves to play sports, watch movies and spend time with his family and friends. Caleb is an enthusiastic goofball excited for his first year having fun and learning with future scientists at Worlds UNBound!

Grace

(Instructor)

Grace is entering her 4th year of Bachelor of Arts in Biopsychology. Joule loves all sciences and plans on becoming a teacher one day. In her free time, Grace loves reading, spending time with friends and swimming. Grace is very excited to share her love of science and learning with the campers this summer!

Claire

(Instructor)

Claire is in her 3rd year of a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at UNB. She is originally from Newfoundland and has loved getting to explore Fredericton! When Claire is not studying she can usually be found reading, walking at the walking bridge, or hanging out with friends! Claire is super excited to explore STEM with students this fall!

Chelsey

(Instructor)

Chelsey is in her fifth year at UNB taking an honours in Biology. She’s interested in studying the impact of viruses and bacteria on human health. In her free time she loves to be in the research lab, read, and go to the gym. She’s looking forward to teaching students about the world of STEM!

Joy

(Instructor)

Joy is in her 5th year of studying Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics. She loves spending her days combining mechanical and electronic components to create smooth and efficient movements. Passionate about increasing diversity in Mechanical Engineering, Joy is especially excited to see more women join the field. When she is not immersed in engineering, you’ll find her staying active, baking, watching action thriller/K-dramas, or hanging out with family.

Anshul

Anshul just completed his 3rd year in Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical) at UNB. He is super pumped to meet all the campers at Worlds UNBound this summer. When Anshul is not in classes/studying engineering, he is playing football, swimming, hanging out with friends or playing music on his guitar. 

Kinjal

(Instructor)

Kinjal is a final-year mechanical engineering student at UNB, specializing in mechatronics. She thrives on transforming her innovative ideas into tangible designs, and integrating electronics to bring the visions to life. During her free time she enjoys reading rom-com, painting, and experimenting new dishes for her roommates. Kinjal’s passion for engineering and her vibrant hobbies reflect her dynamic personality, making her not only a dedicated student but also a cherished friend and culinary adventurer!

Jessica

Jessica is in her first year of a bachelor of science in kinesiology. She plans on becoming a physiotherapist one day. In her free time she enjoys being around her family and friends, going outdoors and spends a lot of time at the rink.

Pythagoras is going into his 3rd year of Civil Engineering at UNB. He loves geometry and finding all the zero force members in a truss. Whenever he isn’t studying he likes to watch superhero movies, go boxing, and go swimming. He is super excited to meet and hopes to inspire all the young scientists and engineers coming to Worlds UNBound.

Nebula recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of New Brunswick. In her free time she loves playing soccer, traveling and going to the gym. She is looking forward to spending her third summer with Worlds Unbound and is excited to inspire and excite youth about STEM.

After completing her Mechanical Engineering degree in Hong Kong, Inertia moved to Canada to pursue her Bachelor of Education in the Middle/High School stream. She can speak three different languages; English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Feel free to chat with her and share new phrases from other languages! She’s super excited to meet everyone at Worlds UNBound and can’t wait to share her passion for robotics and coding with you all!

Galaxy is going into her 4th year of UNB’s Bachelor of Arts program with a major in English and she plans on going into Education when she is finished! When Galaxy isn’t studying Shakespeare, she loves watching movies, reading books, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends. Galaxy is super excited for her 3rd year working as a World’s UNBound instructor and can’t wait to meet all the little scientists and engineers!

Solar is entering her 4th year of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at UNB. After she graduates, she plans to become an athletic therapist. She is passionate about health and exercise, but during her free time she loves to spend time with her family and friends. Solar can’t wait to spend the summer sharing her love of science with amazing campers!

Fungi just finished his second year in general sciences at the University of New Brunswick. He loves chemistry and wants to be a teacher in the future. During his free time, Fungi loves sitting down with a good book or taking care of his many, many plants. He’s so excited for his first summer with World’s UNBound and can’t wait for camps.

Vortex just finished his 3rd year of Biochemistry at UNB. He loves to participate in group activities, helping others and making a difference. When Vortex is not looking at Safety Data Sheets, he loves hanging out with friends, taking his dog for a walk, and spending time with his family. He is super excited to be a part of Worlds UNBound and can’t wait to meet all the future scientists and engineers this summer!
